Here is general guidance on entry requirements:

English Language: The language requirements may vary from one institution to other, and as per the level of the chosen English program.

Vocational Education: In the majority of cases, you aren't required to appear in an entrance exam for VET institutions. But, some programs may require particular pre-requisite subject or work experience.

Undergraduate: To find entry into a university under an undergraduate program, you must have a Senior Secondary Certificate or equivalent.

Postgraduate: You will need an undergraduate degree to seek admission in a postgraduate program. However, your chosen institution may ask for relevant work experience or research ability. 

Visa Requirements

The visa you will need also depends on the course you have chosen to study in Australia. You will need a COE (Certificate of Enrolment), Pearson Test of English, IELTS or TOEFL scores as evidence of English language proficiency, sufficient funds for living, tuition and airfare costs, health and character proofs and Overseas Student Health Cover (OSHC).

Australia has designed a system of health cover for international students namely OSHC. This health cover assists students in paying for the medical care they may need while studying in the country.  You will need this health cover before you reach the country.
